Description:

Gen Green's stay near Cheraw was short. Tories began incursion stealing and plundering the countryside from their camp in Three Creeks in the swamp. Col Abel Kolb attempted to locate the Tory camp but was unsuccessful. Patriot Harry Sparks volunteered to find the camp but was discoverd and hung by the Tories. When the Patriots search for him they found the camp and Sparks hanging from a tree. The Tories had abandoned the camp.
