British Maj James Wemyss was sent to Wiliamsburg Township to establish a Loyalist militia and sieze Patriot arms and ammunition. Maj John James sent by Gen Marion ambushed the rear guard of the British forces. James killed 30 British troops but lost a like number of Patriots before he withdrew.Ajouté au bande de temps:
