Description:
Patriot Capt John Moffit's militia was travelling down Broad River from Floyd's Fort. Moffit received word of Tories at Harrison's house, a noted Tory. At the house, two women advised the Tories left earlier. As Moffit's men rode away, they were ambushed from a thicket.
