Description:
Southern Confederates in the south headed to Gettysburg to seize much-needed boots but met Union troops on the way. Union troops forced the Confederates into the hills while both armies rushed to the scene. Lee ordered his troops to launch attack aka “Pickett’s Charge” across farmland toward Cemetary Ridge. Union canons and guns inflicted 7,000 casualties in less than 30 minutes of fighting.
