Excited colonists - overthrow of James II signaled the end of repressive measures at Puritans and colonial self government (later proved to be wrong when Parliament continued to restrict self governing in the colonies)
Caused several uprisings in the colonies after they were continued to be repressed (irreversable damage was done to the relationship between England and America)
