Description:

This was a protest that lasted about a year. Many African Americans refused to ride on the busses in Montgomery to stand against segregated seating. It was fueled by Rosa Parks who was arrested for refusing to give up her seat. Eventually the Supreme Court forced monetegomery to integrate the bus seating
