June/July, 2011 – Summer holidays in Newcastle. Hangs out with Joe when he’s back for a visit, fights with Alex who eventually goes off on a gap year around Thailand, argues with his mum and his dad, who stays with one week on and off, glad to not see James or Simon.
Misses Erika, who has dropped off the face of the earth completely. Talks to Anna on the phone occasionally or via Facebook.
Calls Dominic in late July when he hasn’t heard from Erika in weeks. Dominic seems concerned too but tells him not to worry. That that job is Dominic’s. Sam and him argue and Sam hangs up.
Feels helpless and can’t stop thinking about those self-harm scars.

August, 2011 – Family holiday with Riley and Alex to Madrid, Spain where he and Alex fight and Riley spends most of the time fucking one of the waiters at the hotel.
