25 nov 1950 - MacArthur's Letter
Description:
After the Chinese were now involved in the war, Truman realized the war could not be won without commitments of troops, supplies, and even atomic weapons, and he did not want to take any risks and rule out these options. MacArthur was angry as he wanted total victory and favored an invasion of China. He sent a letter to the House Republican disagreeing with the President and Truman fired him for subordination.
