Enoch, the first human to learn to write, was shown many visions and heavenly secrets by the Most High. In one of Enoch's visions of heaven, he saw One who looked like a human which perplexed him and Enoch inquired about Him (see Enoch 46). Enoch also was shown the entire history of humans and read human history from the heavenly tablets.
