1 janv. 1857 - 1857 | Dred Scott v.s. Stanford
Description:
Dred Scott was a slave of Virginia who tried to sue for his freedom in court. It went eventually to Supreme court and they said he was a piece of property that had none of the legal rights or recognition afforded to a human being. This was an injustice way of court to call someone property and not have human rights as they should. Southerners renewed their challenges to the agreed-upon territorial limitations on slavery.
