12 h 30 min, 1 déc. 1873 ans - Ladies Leave Cardif Wales for London

Description:

At 12: 30 pm on the first of December, according to The Pembrokeshire Herald and General Advertiser, ‘all the ladies left Cardiff by the half past twelve train for London, under the care of Mr C. B. Waite…The party reached Paddington on Monday night at ten minutes to six o'clock, and were at once placed in cabs and conducted to the Charing Cross Hotel, where they remained until the 8.45 mail [a sea vessel] in the evening, when they proceeded to Paris.’(‘Awful Collision in the Atlantic’ 5). I presume that Anna and Rev. Lorriaux were a part of this party, though it’s possible that they departed Cardiff with a party that left there on the second.(‘Dreadful Collision at Sea’ 3, a) ---- ‘Awful Collision in the Atlantic’.
