Description:
The Wagner Act and the New Deal legislation gave many labor unions boldness. As a result, a sit-down strike occurred at General Motors in Flint, Michigan. Workers refused to leave the plant in an effort to get better working conditions. In February, management finally gave in to the worker's demands.
