3 sept. 1933 - Emergency Banking Relief Act enacted

Description:

The act served in order to try and settle the banking system of the U.S. Many banks had been closed and many people were in chaos. This helped end the trouble with the banks after the banks had been shutdown for a period of some days. After the act, banks were opened once again which helped stabilize the banking system.
