2 avr. 1958 - Les Paul
Description:
The next major development in multitrack recording came in 1953, when musician Les Paul devised the concept of 8-track recording; this was commercially developed by the Ampex Corporation. Les Paul wanted to be able to play to multiple recordings to make a better performance. He performed with different recorders playing at the same time as he performed live.
