Description:

A massive March in August 1963 where over 250,00 people ​​gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C for Jobs and Freedom. The main purpose was to get attention for the challenges and the inequalities African Americans faced also where the famous speech named “I have a Dream” by Martin Luther KIng Jr’s took place. Many years before this other many marches happened inorder to obtain equality for everyone. This march’s objective was accomplished making the president John F. Kennedy begging a strong federal civil rights bill in Congress.
