Conversion therapy is a practice that suppresses ones sexuality. Recently, Greece banned it. Other countries like Canada, New Zealand and France did this earlier this year. The practice of conversion therapy is not scientifically proven, and is usually problematic. The treatment sometimes results in depression or suicides because the person getting treatment is not happy with themselves. Now in Greece, doctors or therapists need the person's signature and consent before they give them treatment.
