Description:

After the use of the atomic bomb in WWII the US and other countries began to copy and upgrade this weapon of mass destruction. Edward Teller and Stanislaw M. Ulam were main American scientists behind this project. They developed the Hydrogen Bomb which is one thousand times stronger than an Atomic bomb. This was another huge leap in the arms race between Russia and the US. The next year in 1953 the Russians were also able to test their first H-bomb further raising tension and fear of nuclear warfare.
