The Meuse-Argonne Attack was a component of World War I's last Allied offensive. With nearly a million American soldiers involved, the Meuse-Argonne Offensive was the greatest operation of the American Expeditionary Forces (AEF) of World War I. It was also the bloodiest campaign in American history, with over 26,000 men killed in action (KIA) and more than 120,000 fatalities overall.
