Description:

Erwin Schrodinger was an Austrian physicist who discovered the Electron Cloud Model mathematical equations to describe the likelihood of finding an electron in a certain position, taking a step further in developing our understanding of the atom. Schrodinger contradicted Bohr's understanding that electrons moved in a fixed orbit so he created a wave equation utilising the concept of energy conservation to gain knowledge about the behaviour of the electron. In his experiment, he found that electrons created electron cloud surrounding the nucleus.
