John Dalton made a significant discovery involving about atoms in 1808. The first portion of his theory asserts that all stuff is made up of indivisible atoms. According to the second section of the theory, all atoms of a given element have the same mass and characteristics. Compounds, according to the third section, are combinations of two or more different types of atoms.
