Description:

The Yalta Conference was a meeting of Iosif Stalin, Harry S. Truman, and Winston Churchill which effectively divided post-war Europe into spheres of influence, while German was to be divided amongst the three powers and France following its defeat. This agreement was basically an extension of the earlier secret percentages agreement between Stalin and Churchill, although this conference led to much more favorable terms than the last as a result of the Soviet Union's advanced status in the war.
