Description:
While Al-Walid finally storm Heliopolis, Heraclonas had pursued, and now advanced on with his own army, and reinforced by large numbers of Mauri auxilaries. Heraclonas catch up the Arabs near Babylon, this time the Romans scored a major victory, and smashed, scattered then destroy the Arab army; leaving seven thousand Arabs dead on the field, for only four thousand Romans. This battle forced Arab general Al-Walid to retreat his army out of Egypt and leaving the Pelusium-Clysma line as the southern border between the Roman Empire and the Caliphate for next about 100 years.
