The Council of Constance effectively brings an ends to the Western Schism (1378–1414 CE) and the papacy’s second major decay. This same council tries and executes John Huss for spreading the teachings of John Wycliffe, teachings seminal for the Reformation.
This council was able to bring an end to the Western Schism and also the decay. Here they also execute John Huss, for spreading the word of John Wycliffe, who was teaching things for the reformation
