Eric DeFelice, Graphics Engineer for KSP2, is responsible for creating solutions to the graphical challenges that are unique to KSP. Specifically rendering planets at different distances to the appropriate level of detail so that the player is not jarred by the popping of new textures as the player gets closer or further from a celestial body. We've all noticed this in many of the other show and tells and feature videos. In this Developer Diary we see how things will look much more seamless in the finished product.
