The KKK was formed a sort while after the Civil War. Most of the founding were Confederate veterans or other who hated what President Abraham Lincoln did to the southern plantation not that every person in southern United states already hated but just those who joined the KKK. Now it has not ended the KKK has spread throughout most of the United states, even Alaska!
