Description:

What happened is an Indian War group with over a hundred Kiowas, Comanches, Kiowa-Apaches, Arapahoes, and Cheyennes attacked a wagon train. One of three escapees of the massacre went to Fort Richardson where he told Sherman and Mackenzie about the massacre, so Sherman sent Mackenzie out with three companies of his Fourth Cavalry. When they returned, Sherman personally arrested three of the four Indian leader.
