Description:
The District of Assiniboia, having been unable to gather the fund to purchase their portion of Rupert's Land outright, agrees to become a territory of Canada. They will retain autonomy, but be accountable to Ottawa. As a side effect, the territory north of Assiniboia which was once part of Rupert's Land is organized in to the Keewatin Territory.Ajouté au bande de temps:
