Railcolor just released the news about Vossloh Locomotives’ new DM20 zero-emission locomotives – Now Rail Innovators Group (RIG) from the Netherlands announces it will start using such machines in the port of Rotterdam in 2024. RIG’s railway undertaking Rail Force One will be operating the battery-electrics. They will get a special styling by Railcolor Design. The zero-emission locomotive (electric+battery-electric) is suitable to run under multiple network voltages (AC and DC) and is equipped with high-capacity batteries and intelligent breaking energy regeneration systems.
