Mariner 3 is the first spacecraft created to try and make it to Mars in order to capture fly by pictures. It was launched on Nov. 5, 1964. However, it never made it to Mars as the shroud encasing the spacecraft on top its rocket failed to open properly.Ajouté au bande de temps:
