573 years from Exodus to Solomon's temple (see Acts 13:17-22). However, 1 Kings 6:1 says that it is 480 years. 573-480 = 93. The book of Judges says that for 93 years Israel was given over to be ruled by other nations. So we can conclude that 1 Kings 6:1 doesn't count these years since the nation of Israel technically wasn't in existence then.
