Description:

Confederate General Lee wanted to continue his string of victories against they Union in the Battle of Gettysburg, however, they lost the battle with George Pickett leading the Confederate attack. This lost marked the last real chance for the Confederates to win the war. As result of the death toll, Lincoln went to the sight to give the Gettysburg Address.
