Description:

Galactus consumes Chandilar, throneworld of the Shi’ar Empire. The Shi'ar create the Phoenix Force to combat Galactus, but it fails. Galactus destroys the Shi'ar fleet in his defense. Empress Lilandra is killed. Her sister, Calsyee, escapes Chandilar before it is destroyed, and assumes control of the Empire from Cascadhel.
