Dr. Chung Yung Chih was a professor of Physics at the college. He began his work at Middlebury just after the 1954 fall semester. He received his degree from Tsin Hau University in Peiping. After teaching for eleven years in Chinese universities, Chih traveled to America where he obtained his doctorate degree from the University of California.
