Similar to the Truman Doctrine, the Reagan Doctrine was a foreign policy doctrine during the Cold War. However, the Reagan Doctrine was more focused on ending the Cold War. His doctrine stated that America would help communist-threatened countries or anti-communist resistances by rolling back their existing governments.
