1 janv. 1947 - Cathode Ray Amusement Device

Description:

The cathode-ray tube amusement device is the earliest known interactive electronic game. This device simulated an artillery shell arcing towards targets on a cathode ray tube. (CRT) screen. This device was controlled by a player who would move the trajectory of the shell to hit targets on a transparent coloured plastic sheet. The gaming device was never manufactured or marketed to the public, so it had no effect on the future video game industry. Under most definitions the device is not considered a computer game as it involved no computational components.
