Description:
This was the colonists first action directly opposing the British and the unfair taxation. On the night of December 16th sam Adams and the Sons of Liberty made their way on 3 ships in the British harbor. These ships contained tea which they threw overboard, in total they tossed 342 chests of tea into the harbor. The British would respond with the Coercive Acts of 1774.
