Description:
The 19th amendment gave women the right to vote in elections, this was also know as women suffrage. Women's rights movements started back in 1848 with the Seneca Falls Convention which was created by Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott. Ever since that convention women's rights movements became a huge priority. It peaked when the the amendedment was finally ratified on august 18th 1920.
