27 févr. 1933 - The Reichstag Fire

Description:

The Reichstag burned and a single dutch communist Maurinus Van der Lubbe was arrested and charged.
Hitler used it to condemn the communist party and as propaganda for the Nazis as they were a strong anti-communist party (using it as a pretext that the communists were plotting)
As a result, a fear and anger torwards communists developed which only helped the Nazis.
