The Kaiser's Legions, an institution that had persisted since days after the dawn of the world, faced new problems in the post-conquest age. These problems resulted from the integration of new peoples into the Alonian Empire. Over the course of the Unification Age, the population of the Alonian Empire would increase 900%, with the Kaiser's Legions growing accordingly. With this, Kaiser Stephen II would seek to reorganize the Legions to more effectively wage war.
