Description:
After losing many troops at the fight for the creek bed, the last troops of C Company arrive at 1430, along with the lead elements of D Company under Capt. Ray Lefebvre. This drop-off took place during intense NVA fire pouring into the landing zone which cost the newly arriving companies many casualties.30 minutes after the arrival of the C and D Company, the attack from the south had ended with the NVA withdrawing approximately one hour after the attack had launched.
