Description:
The USSR began sending ballistic missiles over to Cuba in May of 1960 thinking the USA wouldnt react to this. In their mind it would strenghthen the Soviet/Cuban bond and make good on their promise of protecting Cuba from the USA. In October of 1962 the USSR and the USA were at a nuclear standoff, until the USSR backed off. Both sides dismantled their missiles and doged a nuclear war.Ajouté au bande de temps:
