31 mars 1829 - Jackson Presidency

Description:

Andrew Jackson was born into a very poor family, but eventually rose up the ranks and decided to turn to law and being a political figure for his career. Andrew Jackson became the seventh President of the United States in 1829 when he finally won the election after losing the 1924 election that was very dirty and hotly contested by Jackson. He initially tried to removed the National Bank and the electoral college. He also had a pretty negative opinion from most people in America because of his autocratic manner and steadfast opinions. These really showed when Jackson dealt with the Indian Removal in the latter part of his presidency and caused tons of undeserving pain on Native Americans and killing thousands in the process.
