This is when John Brown fought for the slaves. He fought with his 5 sons to end slavery. He had a plane to take the army's weapons and attack the Union to free slaves. He wrote a letter to the slaves telling them to come help. They did not show up because they can not read. His plan failed in some ways but was successful in others.
