- Violence by agitated mob. Police Station was burned by the mob. This prompted Gandhi to withdraw the Non-Corporation Movement.

- Gandhi thought people are not ready for mass scale NCM. Many congress leaders like Motilal Nehru, Jawaharlal nehru and others were not happy with this decision
