Description:

As WWI starts, a factory next to Williams shop closes down. He puts his savings into buying it, and employs many homeless people looking for work. He takes advantage of the war in three ways. 1. He buys the factory for extremely cheap. 2. He employs many people for next to nothing pay,because those working for him won't have to go fight because... 3. The boots he is making in mass quantities are being sold to the US military and anybody working for him is considered a military worker by providing clothing for the troops.
