21 juin 1765 - Stamp Act (Event 3)

Description:

British put direct tax on paper, newspaper, calenders and all legal documents for colonists to pay.Because of this new act, colonists protested, formed sons of liberty, and did not buy goods. This act was soon repealed in 1766 because all the colonists were against it and protested.
