The McDonald's company has had quite a large effect on the US because of their marketing idea which is cheap, fast, food.
And because of how cheap the food is, it allows poor family's and people to have a reliable and a cheap food source. But, the repercussions of eating McDonalds are severe, some people who over eat McDonalds can lead to heart problems and obesity. 5.2% of children ages 2-19 in 1971- 1974 were overweight, and the number from 2017-2018 was 19.3%. For adults ages 20 and up was 22.9% in 1988-1994, to 42.4% in 2017-2018. Now, McDonalds supplies roughly 64 million people a day with food world wide.
