15 sept. 1950 - U.N Prepared for Counterattack

Description:

General Douglas MacArthur devised a plan to drive out the North Korean invaders. General Douglas was well known for his heroic actions in WWII. His belief was that the Koreans swift attack had left them with limited supply lines. He decided to capitalize on this and launched a surprise attack on the port of Inchon. He knew they wouldn't excpect it because the waters were treacherous and it was far behind enemy lines. It paid off because by October they were able to push the North Koreans back.
