Description:
There were rules from the Missouri Compromise that slavery was not allowed north of 36 30. So when Dred Scott was held as a slave in a free state, he sued the court for his freedom. The Supreme court decided that slave was a property and nothing more raising a storm of protest in the north which eventually lead to the war.Ajouté au bande de temps:
