Some attempted to force their way into the building, while others threw variousobjects, including rocks and other projectiles, at law enforcement officials guarding the
Commission. A projectile struck one officer in the throat and severely injured him. As the
violence escalated, riot police were called to the location. Several individuals were arrested,
and the crowd soon dispersed.
